Project details

Starting Point

Good Company is a bookshop and café that opened its doors in Lisbon with a clear ambition: to be a point of convergence between locals and the city's growing international community. The founders were very aware of gentrification and its effects, and they wanted to build a place that challenged it.

Solution & Impact

We started with brand strategy to find Good Company's soul. What came out of that process was a visual language rooted in a genuine passion for literature: hand-drawn illustrations that mix whimsical characters with blunt lines paired with an elegant serif font, reminiscent of literary tradition.

The illustration style became the backbone of a flexible system, giving the team a series of templates to keep communication consistent and manageable at their own pace.

We built a custom headless Shopify experience, with integrations across logistics providers and stock management systems. The result is an ecommerce platform that handles a complex operation without ever losing the warmth that makes Good Company what it is.
