Starting Point
Hydrotwin had developed an innovative product: an ocean sensing system capable of providing real-time data through AI and acoustic modelling.
The technology was compelling, but the brand was stuck in the academic and research world. To grow as a company and attract the investment and partnerships it deserved, Hydrotwin needed a brand that could communicate its ambition to a global audience.
Solution & Impact
The logo was designed to speak the language of the product: forms inspired by both water and sound waves, capturing the dual nature of what Hydrotwin does and how it does it.
The colour system moves from light to dark, reflecting the literal journey from the ocean surface to its depths. The overall tone is open and accessible without losing the technical credibility the product demands.
After the rebrand, Hydrotwin received significant VC investment and gained major traction in its sector, unlocking the resources to fulfill its purpose of ocean protection.
