Starting Point

Revolution Needles had something valuable: a heritage in traditional needle manufacturing and a genuine ambition to produce the best tattoo needle cartridge available. But the brand had gone dormant. The name and the shield logo were assets waiting to be unlocked. The challenge was to find the right position and bring the brand and make it match the perceived qualities of their products.

Solution & Impact

Brand strategy identified the position: Revolution Needles is a brand for challengers, for the risk takers who need to trust their tools completely. This is not a brand for the cautious.
Hence, the tagline "For those who have skin in the game".

We recovered and rebuilt the shield logo, grounding the identity in that heritage mark. Connected visually to the Piranha Tattoo mother brand, the system has family coherence without sacrificing its own character.

Free-flow elements were added alongside the precision-led design language, capturing an artistic quality that balances technical exactness with the freedom that tattooing demands. The result is a brand that speaks the language of the craft.
